PUB Publika — The open registry for iViRTH and its brands

About Publika

Publika is iViRTH's open repository — a permanent, public archive for the publications, datasets, software, media, and documents produced by iViRTH and every brand under it. It works on the same open-access principle as registries like Zenodo and OpenAIRE: anyone can browse, download, and cite a work without needing an account. Only iViRTH staff and admins can register new works.

The asset ID scheme

Every work registered in Publika receives a permanent asset ID in the format:

HLX-0110-IVI/<SEQUENCE>

  • HLX-0110-IVI — the fixed Publika scheme identifier for iViRTH.
  • <SEQUENCE> — a unique six-digit number, assigned in order as works are registered.

Asset IDs are assigned automatically the moment a work is registered and never change or get reused. A DOI can additionally be attached to a record if one has been registered externally with a DOI provider.

Citing a work

Every work page includes ready-to-use citations in APA, MLA, Chicago, and BibTeX formats, generated from the record's title, authors, and identifier. Use the identifier link (DOI if one exists, otherwise the permanent Publika record URL) so the citation stays valid even if the work is later updated.

Also published elsewhere

A work's Publika record and its DOI (if any) identify this archived copy. The same work can separately have appeared in a journal, a conference, or another repository — each with its own identifier. Where that's the case, the work's page lists every such venue under “Also published elsewhere,” with its own DOI or link, volume/issue/pages, and publication date. Staff add these from the “Also published elsewhere” section when registering or editing a work, choosing from a reference list of well-known journals or typing any other venue name.

Licensing

Each work carries a license set at the time it's registered — shown on its page with a CC or Proprietary badge. Some works use standard Creative Commons licenses; others use iViRTH's own terms or terms specific to a brand (Syaahi, InkLink, The Great Indian Campus). Always check a work's license before reusing it.

Contributing

New works are registered by iViRTH staff through the internal admin/staff panel. If you're part of the iViRTH team and need access, contact trinetra@ivirth.com.
